Finding your PLACE in ministry

We would like to encourage every person at Grace to take advantage
of the wonderful opportunity provided by the PLACE ministry.
It is our desire to help you discover the ministry God has designed for you.
We can help you find your ministry through attending a PLACE Workshop.

PLACE stands for:

P - Personality Discovery
L - Learning Spiritual Gifts
A - Abilities Assessment
C - Connecting passion with ministry
E - Experiences of life.

If you can purchase the book at the cost of $10 that would help, but please do not let the cost keep you from taking this exciting Christian Life growth opportunity.

Discovering my PLACE in Ministry

"You were made for a ministry!"

PLACE is a process that equips Christians to discover and develop their God-given personality, spiritual gifts, abilities, passions, and life experiences.

Teachers: Pastor Mike Brubaker,  Gina Vandervort

Purpose: Serves as a doorway into ministry. PLACE connects Christians with opportunities to serve that match the unique way God designed them.

Content: PLACE process consists of 5 phases:

  • Four-hour class with workbook, teaching, and self-assessments

  • Completion of personal profile and ministry covenant

  • One-on-one consultation/exploring interview

  • Introduction to ministry, leader, and team

  • Re-evaluation (change, better fit)

A workbook is required (cost is $10 and may be paid day of the class.) This workbook will be given to each participant a week in advance to provide time for completion of other assessments.
